Loudmouth Productions needs YOU!

The aptly named "Loudmouth Productions" is a group of five sixth formers, making up a film club and in the beginning stages of producing a modern version of Macbeth. We aim to make this film roughly an hour long and it will be given its premiere in the lecture theatre sometime near Christmas, a lecture theatre that will be temporarily converted into a cinema. The production is strictly in-house- which means you (no matter your year group) have a great chance to be involved, whether that is through acting, filming or slaving around for director Jay Lawrence.

We will be holding auditions in the near future, the dates will all be confirmed on this site or of course if you have any questions you can speak to any of us involved- Jay Lawrence, Hannah Webb, Catherine Lai, Nathan Arbrey and James McGarry.

We are currently two days into the project, and we're currently finding our feet and planning the film scene-by-scene. It's been good fun so far, and we're progressing pretty well. Today we were joined by Emma from Knowle West Media Centre, who did a great job of teaching us about different methods of filming and we had a go at acting out a scene ourselves, which served to remind us of the importance of recruiting some of you guys, as we were frankly quite rubbish.

This blog will be frequently updated with information about where we are in our production as well as dates of auditions.

See you soon, from James McGarry
